How far has your juice just travelled?

Did you know that North East Spain is the closest place to the UK that you can grow (commercially) oranges and tomatoes? And even the bulk of the world's apple juices come from other continents such as the USA and Asia. So that means that rather than ship fruit juices thousands of miles back to the UK, Folkington's Juices travel just 850 miles, 90% of which is by train and ferry rather than by road. So that helps keep Folkington's Food Miles to a minimum.

We launched on 30th September a fantastic new range of gourmet fruit juices - Folkington's. But these are juices with a difference. Instead of making them from commodity traded fruits each is squeezed or pressed from selected late-harvested fruit varieties grown in three regions of N E Spain - Valencia, Catalonia and Navara. Marie Curie Cancer Care Daffodil Campaign

Where have they all gone?

Iced coffees that is... Last year British consumers could buy a Cafe Met (Arla), a Kenco Cappio Ice (Kraft) or a Nescafe Ice (Nestle) - but they've since all been withdrawn from the market. Leaving HERBERT'S as the sole survivor! With its unique FAIRTRADE credentials, its no wonder that Herbert's is now the only ambient iced coffee range on sale in the UK.

Dozens of Qu4ttro

From March our best selling range, QU4TTRO STAGIONI, will be sold in packs of 12 instead of 24. This will save 30 Tonnes of cardboard every year; nice for our planet :)

Welcome Sweden!
